Whadda we need? Better chants! When do we need 'em? for the next protest! Here are some original spins on old material I heard at Saturday's Chill Your Willy if you Really Want to Billy Club the Killing Protest:
- Whose cops? OUR cops!
- George Bush, we will stop you (to the tune of Queen's "We will rock you")
- Ain't no power like the power of the people cause the power of the people don't stop.
- Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Metz! Play a sport, don't be a vet!
Or this varation: Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Mets! Be a sport, be a mench!

It made me laugh, it made me cry... Jobless Girl Issue Number 1 hits the net with verve and charm. Pity the rube who has not yet had the chance to meet Suzanne Brown. Way back in our most recent Gilded Age, when technology was still miraculous, Suzanne was my boss. Now, I've had a lot of smart, mentoring bosses in my day, but Suzanne, as usual invented, baked, and took the 7-layer ganauche-style cake and served it on her own hand-blown plates. By which to say, she was a phenomonal boss, a talented and strategic graphic designer, and what are you reading this for? Go hire her, for the love of Pete, before she single-handedly saves Martha Stewart OmniMedia or something. Go on, now! Scat!
