Gosh, wedged in between National Drunk and Drugged Driving Prevention Month and Leif Erikson day, we find the president waxing eco-friendly with his Proclamation of National Recycling Day.. Sure, we could have a Manhattan Project-stylee initiative to completely transform the waste stream in our country, but that would piss off Waste Management Global Sweepers Under The Rug Co. Better to keep the kiddies making terraria out of pop bottles.
Sorry, man, don't mean to wash you over w/ cynicism. It's just that ReadyMade Magazine is having a MacGyver Recycling Design Challenge. Put yr adaptin' caps on! This month they ask us to reconsider the CD Jewel Case. Having recently digitalized my music collection, and produced 300 copies of a CD, I'm feeling just guilty enough to enter. Guess what I'm going to make out of all my clear CD cases?
That's right. A terrarium.

Dear Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon–
Hi! We're your neighbors! We thought it would be great if you could come over to our house on Henry Street and jam with us, or we could go to your house on Murray Street and jam with you. It'd be so fun. I'd bring a pie.
Call us!
Love, Bootsy and Hackles.
PS I could make ya some nifty shoes.

Might I suggest to film and video editors requiring timecode programs for their Palms the super and pragmatic software over at the Casa de Syncretist?
